we're frequently asked about
my availabilities
At this time, I am offering virtual (online or phone) sessions only and able to offer support to those living in Bristish Columbia. Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and some evening appointments are available.
payment support & fees
I offer individual therapy for a flat rate of $150 per 50-minute session, whether by phone or by video. This rate reflects the fee schedule of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. You may have coverage for a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) through your extended health benefits. Shorter (30 minute) or longer (75 minute) sessions are also available.
I am committed to offering my services at a slightly reduced rate to those for whom cost is a barrier, offering a set number of low-cost spots. Please don’t hesitate to inquire about these if you are experiencing financial hardship.
how it works
Booking a session
If you think individual counselling might be right for you, please be in touch, or you can request to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation. In the consultation, we can get to know each other, answer any questions you might have and see if I am the right fit for you. Contact me here.
Intake & consent form
Once you’ve decided you’re ready, I’ll send you the forms you’ll need to sign before our first session. You’ll book your appointment on Jane, and you will be reminded via email or text message leading up to your appointment. If you need to cancel or if circumstances change, you can access the scheduling calendar whenever you need.
First session
Congratulations on taking this brave first step! It’s common to feel a bit nervous during the first session, but I’ll strive to ensure you feel at ease. We’ll discuss your objectives for therapy and I’ll ask you some questions to get a bigger picture of what is going on for you.
our values
Integrating the Mind and Body
True lasting change comes from not trying to force a new way of thinking, or a new behaviour, but from allowing – a trusting in the body and a letting go. As a cognitive idea, that could seem simple or obvious. As an embodied knowing, it’s nothing short of transformational.
Collective Healing
We believe that understanding the context in which harm has occurred (familial, cultural, societal, etc.) is a necessary step towards true healing and transformation.
evergreen branch
Firm to the ground
Standing tall
Forever green
From the deepest blizzard winter
To the desert like summer.
Your wholeness
Is enveloped with snow
Yet your green imposed its way out
Under the diamond dusts
Forever green, you are. – Rose Marie Juan-austin
Evergreen. Everwell. The evergreen represents that even in the depths of our pain, we are whole. The roots for healing and self-righting are ever present.

There is meaning and importance in going slow. Time to reflect, notice and feel. Leaving space between the thought and the feeling. Coming into the present. Connecting to our bodies. Travelling to the parts of us that want to be seen. And coming into a fuller knowing of ourselves.
